Carl
It’s hard enough having a brother who lied to, stole from and cheated nearly everyone in your small down, but then to have everyone assume the same from you has got to be difficult. Carl would know that better than anyone.
Carl has never done anything with malicious intent, but every time he walks into the convenience store down the street, the clerk starts to follow him around. The sherif has arrested Carl 13 times without anything on him.
His brother ran out of town, leaving Carl alone with his alcoholic mother who causes her fair share of trouble, after crashing into a school bus, running it off the road. One of the children on that bus didn’t make it and he left his little brother to take the blame.
There wasn’t enough evidence against him to actually prosecute, but the town has treated him like garbage ever since. Finally, after being fed up with being treated like a criminal, he stole a backpack full of goodies while the store clerk rang up another customer. If they were going to treat him like one then why not? Though, he regretted his decision once the town began looking for him. Luckily, his invisibility kicked in just as they had him cornered. It’s easier to live in your brother’s shadow when no one sees you.
