Sometimes it can feel like life is too much to balance on your own… sometimes temptation feels like too much to resist when other times it truly is too much. And then there’s sometimes when choosing the right thing seems to benefit anyone around you while you land right on your Face. Life isn’t always fair, and sometimes, the misunderstood fall into places where the decisions they make aren’t the best, and that’s okay. Mistakes are made to learn from them and the good they do will come back to them in the end… it always does. But… so does the bad.

Abigail

Abigail’s unique ability to create energy gives her the power to do so much for the other rulers and those she rules over. She could power civilizations, protect everyone from the harm of others and rid the world of evil-doers, but at what cost. She has to find balance in her use of energy and her conservation of it. Otherwise, there could be dire consequences.

The hardest part is that she has no clue what those consequences could be. Does she risk her life and the life of those around her to save the lives of those around her? Could it kill her or someone else? Can she stomach the idea of the cosmos handing out the consequences of her actions to an unknowing bystander? Or is she ready to risk ending her own life by utilizing the powers she was given to do good?

Abigail puts on a strong face but her anxiety regarding the use and conservation can be too much to handle sometimes. Even when the request involves very little output, her fears cause her to be unable to produce the energy needed to complete it.

Alyssa

Alyssa’s understanding of the mind and how it works makes it difficult for people to get along with. She doesn’t understand the emotional aspect of things the way other people do and she comes off as if she thinks she’s the smartest person in the room. The difference here is that she us the smartest person in the room.

when she corrects you, it’s not because she needs to be right, but because she needs to inform you of anything that may be incorrect in your understanding of the subject. Her intent is good, but her lack of tact expresses otherwise.

This makes her ability to alter human perception and change a person’s overall way of thinking an extremely tempting resource to reach her goal - A temptation that she knows she would never be able to come back from if she decided to give-in and start using mind-control to make people do whatever she wanted.

Antonio

Antonio has spent the majority of his life getting whatever he wanted for nothing, which cost him everything that was important to him. That’s not an easy lifestyle to just walk away from. He finds the temptation to use his abilities for personal gain overwhelming sometimes which casts a shadow on him as a person. People see him as the villain because they’ve never been in his situation. Everyone is always second guessing whether they did something because they wanted to or because he wanted them too.

Though his failed attempt to remove his own tongue in an emotional outburst had made some people loosen up around him, there are still a great deal of people who can’t look past his powers of persuasion and refuse to place their trust in him. Ever since he lost the love of his life, all he’s wanted to do is good - powers or no powers - Even if that means he needs to learn what working for something is all about.

#4. Anna

It’s a hard life when everything you do to benefit your life and reach your goals only ends up benefitting someone else’s future, especially when you don’t know why. Anna truly is a good person, which is how she went from having everything she could ask for to being inches from death before understanding what was happening.

Even after knowing the truth, her abilities left her with a heavy burden to carry. What does one do when they know they can potentialy grant the wish of someone they love but at the cost of their own future? When she sees someone in need, she battles internally, wondering if they deserve to be happy more than she does and she holds a guilty conscious knowing that she didn’t help someone when she had the power to turn their situation around the entire time.

Anna loses sleep every night thinking about all the hardships she could remove from someone’s life but has nightmares about the days When she helped everyone in need.
